In 1978, when Bob read the first book on Near-death Experiences (by Raymond Moody), he knew for sure that it was right. He felt that with every fibre of his being. Especially when he read that there is no-one who judges us after our death. There was a shock through his body, because he knew it was correct. This was contrary to what he had learned as a Roman Catholic, and is why he wanted to compare the essences of NDEs with the essences of the five world religions. Although he wanted to know that out of interest, his study ran so much out of hand that he decided to write and publish his findings in his book: ‘The Essence of Religions’.
In the meantime, Bob met more and more NDErs, and decided to describe their extraordinary stories and views in a book, ‘Messages from The Light’, was translated into three languages. His newest work is 'Impressions of Near-Death Experiences', a collection of hundreds of quotes from NDErs, thoughtfully categorized under a broad spectrum of major headings. Bob considers this his best book on NDEs, due to the wealth of quotes from experiencers - in his opinion the best tutors in life.

Reverend Peter Panagore, M.Div (Yale) has had two near-death experiences, the first while ice climbing in 1980 and the second in 2015 due to a heart attack. He recounts these in his book Heaven Is Beautiful: How Dying Taught Me That Death Is Just the Beginning, an Audible Best Seller available globally in nine editions. His best-selling second book, Two Minutes for God: Quick Fixes for the Spirit, is a collection of original inspirational devotional stories, many of which he told for 15 years on a daily TV show reaching 30 million viewers annually in Maine and New Hampshire. Previously, he served as a United Church of Christ minister and pastor in Maine and Connecticut. He published 150 sermons and many prayers in Homiletics, a leading clergy journal. He now runs a global spiritual counseling service for “closet mystics” and travels nationally as a public and inspirational speaker and teacher. He has been practicing Zazen/Centering Prayer and Kundalini/Kriya Yoga for forty years.

At first sight, John Butler is not one to make much of an impression. Quiet, soft-spoken and usually alone, he became known – in the 1970’s – as one of the first organic farmers.Having, throughout his life also practiced meditation, 8 years ago, at the age of 79, he was recommended to ConsciousTV, a Youtube channel, focusing on those with experience of higher consciousness. Unwilling at first to face publicity, he was later persuaded to be interviewed. This has since become the most popular item on the channel with 3.9m views.
Soon after his debut on ConsciousTV, Phil Shankland found one of John’s books in a charity book sale in Sheffield, was interested, came to see him, and then decided to move and live nearby. Encouraged by success on Conscious TV, they decided to make some videos themselves. This developed into the Youtube Spiritual Unfoldment Channel, which presently has over 230,000 subscribers and 24 million views, besides substantial followings on Facebook, Instagram, with the ASMR community and, most recently, Spotify.
